As the mileage of my campervan never stops growing, new views and experiences never stop around here. Going through the Southern Alps I start to understand why everbody kept telling my how much nicer the South island is compared to the North 😉
What comes down as rain most of the time, still produces a fair amount of snow up there – and nice vistas in the morning
Fox Glacier – incredible how steep that thing is. Moving at about 2 meters per day!
Behind every corner there’s another reason to stop.
And just as you turn around, you are facing the ocean again. Crazy here 😀
Then, some more rain…
… just so that the sun can shine even brigher a bit later.
